Alison King Boddingtons
Wednesday, May 28th, 2008Ever heard of Alison King? If you’re a fan of soap operas then you may just have. The insanely popular British soap opera Coronation Street – one of the longest running shows on TV today – stars King as Carla Conner, one of the so-called ‘evil’ characters in the show with a checkered background and very little in the way of moral fiber.
And her past career may have set her up nicely for such a thing. She was, after all, the poster girl for a beer company.
Prior to her ongoing stint with Coronation Street King was the face of choice for the now former Manchester beer Boddingtons. Since moving on they’ve replaced King with somebody else.
But who’s she to care? Between Corontaion Street and her other successful show that only ended a few years ago – Dream Team, that is – King is doing just fine. A beer company is mere peanuts to her right now.
